File extension r00 information

File extension R00 is a compressed file associated with the application WinRAR Compressed Archive created by RarLab. WinRAR Archive’s native format is known as RAR and is similar to other archives in that the RAR file is a data container for storage of files in compressed form. After RAR files are downloaded from the internet, its contents need to be downloaded for the purpose of using them. Various RAR files are segments of sequences in multi-volume. In WinRAR, a huge archive can be split to fewer and smaller files known as volumes.
These small files known as volumes contain extensions such as .rar and .r00.
